Definition Gallbladder cancer is a tumor that develops because of the malign transformation of its wall’s cells. In most cases, around 80%, there is an association with gallstones, which could indicate a cause relation between the presence of these gallstones and the later malignancy of the gallbladder’s cells. It is a tumor with rapid growth and thus, when the symptoms appear there is already a great invasion of the neighbor organs. It is more frequently seen in women than men in direct relation with the incidence of gallbladders in both genders, presenting between the sixth and seventh decade of life. |
With early diagnosis, 70% of patients with prostate tumors recover. |
