The crystalline is a structure of the eye, with the shape of a transparent lens; which increases or decreases in diameter with the goal of focusing the image of an external object in the retina.

When the crystalline lens suffers alterations in its transparency, it produces what is known as "cataract", causing difficulties for normal vision.
