The oldest in the world

In many cultural aspects, the world is virtually divided into two: East and West. In ancient times, when communication was very difficult, the interaction between these two ways of life was almost none. Thus two different ways of viewing the world and its most developed habitant, the human being, were consolidated based on deep differences:

• The West followed a quick road towards the material aspects, pragmatism and exact science. New is always better than old and advance is unlimited for the western scientist. The art of healing sprouted from this tendency which is the current allopathic medicine.

• The East, faithful to its spiritual roots and its deep respect for nature, cultivated another way of understanding the universe. For Orientals the ancient will always be the most sacred. And even though the East has incorporated the advances of modern science, these will never substitute the wisdom of thousands of years.

Among the most ancient of all eastern traditions that teach wellbeing and health, are without a doubt those that are still respected in India (Ayurvedic Medicine) and China. In the latter, an amazing medicine, whose beginnings are traced to the third millennia before the Christian era and even further back.
