Is in this age, the post-modern, in which we view the phenomenon of general consume, not any longer specific to drugs. The post-modern man consumes therefore exists. The appetite for objects, understood by the opposite of subjects, seems unstoppable. Including those that are not essential for subsisting in the biological, social and spiritual planes, but are transformed into indispensable, attracting the energy of a great mass of men and women among whom the young are, maybe, most vulnerable:

• Consume of material goods as a tempting social status symbol.

•  Consume of love that, because it is consumable and standardized, stops being love and is transformed into a cartoon of feelings and true eroticism.

•  Consume of limitless information, without the possibility of transforming it into knowledge through reflection because media tends to be quicker than content.

It is in post-modernity when consume is presented as a net that imprisons while forming our way of life. In which life is defined by the possibility of not reaching certain things or by the anguish of not being able to reach them yet, even when yet means never for the great majority. The consume of drugs has become a true problem, since it is the most painful and brutal element of humankind’s life style and post-modern society
