Vital condition

Men and women are sexual beings; nobody can deny this simple truth.  But when we sustain that a newborn baby is a sexual being…when we think of an old lady that lies in her death bed as a sexual being, this truth is not so easy to sustain.  Why?

For explaining this problem –which so much discomfort and lack of life quality generates in many- we have to view sexuality as the condition of an integral person: physical, psychic and social.

• That sex is a physical condition is evident: there are the genitals, the secondary sexual characters and functions such as fecundation, ovulation or erection to remind us.
• That sexuality is anchored in the psychic structure of the human being, from Sigmund Freud until today it has become more than clear.
• That the sexual organizes social life, the relations between people, it gets harder to see clearly.

However, if we don’t view sex in this complex way which includes the cultural, legal, artistic, pathologic and even commercial, it will always be an incognito sphere for most.  Both in its gender aspect (male or female, beyond the natural physical attributes) as well as its implications through the vital satisfaction of pleasure, sexuality resists being reduced to a simple and concise scientific definition.

There are currently all kinds of foods produced under organic protocols: meats, eggs, honey, olives, sugar, etc..
